Easy Stenciling Art Journal Mixed Media Page
Hello Crafty friends, Today I created this fun art journal page with a very easy stenciling technique to have a beautiful background. I am using products from Art by Marlene's newest release.
Art Journal Mixed Media Project for Art By Marlene.
First I stamped my images with Versafine Onyx Black ink (materials linked below) on Bristol smooth white paper and colored them using my ZIG Brush Markers.
Markers Shades:
Pinks: 200 - 028 - 202 - 201
Purples: 081 - 082 - 303
Yellows: 050 - 051 - 055
Oranges: 052 - 070
Greens: 041 - 045
Blues: 036
Vanilla color: 073
I then used my scissors and cut all around the images and back them with foam tape.
To create the background, I used a paper from the adorable ABM ringbound journal. I pressed 4 purple shades of Distress ink pads on my glassmat, sprayed them with water then pressed my paper on them and repeated couple times til I created multiple layers of different purple shade.
I then used my ABM blending brushes and one of ABM stencils and started blending inks on the stenciling with gentle round motion of the blending brush using the same ink pads shades.
I used ABM new paper elements pad and choose some stamps that match with my owl colors and added a few to the background using my Art by Marlene glue. I then attached my owls.
I finished off with some enamel dots and star stickers.
