Back to School Mini Scrapbook Page
Hello Ai friends, Nina here with a new mini 6 X 6 scrapbook page. I was wishing to create a Back To School themed scrapbook layout so I did dig into my Art Impressions Stash and used all the sets that had school pencils, markers, pens and tools. I also used School Days and School Rules Paper Collections.
For this Back To School Mini Scrapbook Page, I found many related sets.. so I used them all :)
They are Office Party Set, Craft Bag Set and Teachers Rule Set. Started off by stamping all my images using my Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and my Mini Misti on Bristol Smooth White Paper and colored it using my Copic Markers.
Copic Shades:
Greens: YG23 YG67 & YG17
Red: RV69 R27 R29 Grey: C1 C3
Pinks: R14 R13 Browns: E99 YR24 YR21
I then die cut my images, put them aside to start creating my scrapbook layout background.
I cut a piece of wood grain pattern paper from School Rules Collection into a little bigger than 5.5 X 5.5 Inch using my Paper Trimmer.
I used paper from the 12 X 12 paper Pack from School Rules Collection, that had the perfect match of shades that I used with my Copic markers, to cut red, yellow, blue and green strips and stacked them to the left and added a 2 strips of different blues horizontally near the bottom of the page. The bottom Strips I cut from Doodlebug Designs 12 X 12 Paper Pack.
I then printed this adorable picture of my kids on thier first day of school. After their first day of school they came to give me a flying kiss through the window of the passenger seat, I melted and took this memorable lovely photo 😍😍
I left a white margin when I was trimming the photo then backed it with a light blue scrap of paper from Doodlebug Designs Summer Collection to make it stand out against the busy background.
I attached my photo with double sided tape overlapping to strips on the left and above the horizontal ones. I then added this cute sticker strip of apples from School Rules Collection with thier lower edge on top of the horizontal blue strip and part of their tops laying on the photo of the kids to bring all the elements together.
I then started playing around with placing my Art Impressions stationery elements. I was aiming for a cluster coming out from underneath the lower right corner of my photo.
I placed the note pads, markers, scissors, glue, tape and ruler and finished off with the check mark and the A+ grade flying around the cluster.
I also placed my adorable pencil holder on the top of the photo aligned with one of the left strips.
I also added extra elements to complete my page; the Back to school sign with couple ribbons beneath and a cute school bus at the bottom from the School Days and School Rules Paper Collections Ephemera and finish off with couple star stickers From Doodlebug Designs Halloween Collection and some enamel dots from my Enamel Dots Collection.
