Holidays Art Journal Series - Page 2
Hello friends, Nina here and I am sharing with you my second page of the Holidays Art Journal Series that I started last week. (Video tutorial below)
Today we are using the Christmas Wonder Set and Snowflakes Dies from Art Impressions.
I applied White Pearl Modeling Paste on my Gel plate and then colored that paste with Blue Dylusion Ink and then used by Breyer to apply it to the back ground rolling it in horizontal and vertical directions to create the sky. I then used Art by Marlene Rubber stamps to give extra texture to my background (linked below).
With my Ink Blending Tool I applied more texture using Sparkle Stencil from Tim Holtz and Speckled Egg Distress Ink.
I stamped the adorable kids, the light post and the little tree images with my Mini Misti and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored them with Copic Markers.
Copic Shades:
Greens: YG67 YG25
Light Browns: YR24 YR27 E99
Reds: R27 R29
Dark Browns: E25 E27 E57
Skin Tone: E11 E13 E17 E43
Greys: C1 C2 C3 C4 C6
I cut two snowy hillsides with my hand and backed with different thickness of foam tape to give fun dimension to the art journal page and attached them to the page.
I die cut many snowflakes using the Snowflakes Die set and scattered them on my page after I glued my light post, the tree and the adorable kids images.
