How to use COLOR WHEEL to Choose THE Perfect BG for your focal elements
Hey crafty friends, join today to check how I created these beautiful background using my color wheel to choose the perfect match for my focal elements and Art by Marlene stencils for texture.
So I started by cutting 4x4 inch watercolor thick papers and pressed my ink pads on my glass mat, I used about 4 colors for each page, I sprayed the ink on my glass mat without mixing it and started smooching my page on the ink in different areas and with different orientation each time.
I then pressed the inks again on the glass mat, sprayed with water and with paint brush I picked the color and splashed it for added interest on my background. I left the pages to totally dry before the next step.
I then created extra texture on each page using different stencils from Art by Marlene and white pearl modelling paste.
I then elaborate in details how I use my color wheel to choose a matching background color to my focal elements for each page. Check it in the video link below.
Stay tuned for part tune where I finish these pages with focal elements and sentiments.
