Soft Double Page Art Journal

Today I have a fun soft double page layout art journal using the adorable Oh la la paper collection from Stamperia.

Starting with my background, I am using my Stamperia Art Journal

I mixed 3 watercolors to get these soft blue, pink and beige shades on my glass mat.

I sprayed my art journal pages with lots of water then lightly picked the watercolors from my glass mat and dabbed with a paint brush on my background here and there switching between colors with a different brush for each shade.

For the next layer, I stamped many doodles using this doodles lovely stamp set from Stamperia using vintage photo distress ink on the beige areas, tumbled glass on the blue and finally spun sugar on the pink areas.

I then cut two strips from the bricks stone ground thats in the 12X12 paper pad and glued it on my art journal pages. and added a fence from the ephemera above and on top of the fence I added a light pole also from the cardboard ephemera.

I cut a girl images and couple bags and a suitcase from the collectibles booklet (linked down below with all the other materials. I backed the images with foam sheet.

I attached the girl and suitcases standing on the ground on the right side and couple buildings on the left. The tall hotel building was from the 8 X 8 paper pad and the shorter pastry shop was from the collectible booklet.

I added macarons from the ephemera set on top of the roof of the pastry shop.

I used a lot of flowers from the three rub-on sets that are part of the Ohlala collection round the fence and peeking from underneath all my images.

For my sentiments I used Festive Upper and Lower Case Alphabets Die Set I cut them from a scrap of paper that I watercolored with pink shades.
