"Your life" Art Journal - Art by Marlene

Hello Crafty friends, I got lovely booklets from Art by Marlene recent collection "Artsy Arabia" that include a lot of adorable cutouts, you just need to pop them out of the booklet and you are ready to start art journaling, and I was so excited to play with them.

First, I sprayed my art journal pages with 3 different colors from Dylusions Ink Sprays Lemon Zest , Squeezed Orange and Bubblegum Pink. To add some texture to the pages, I stamped some extra fun doodles all around the pages from the Doodle Rubber Stamps Set , it is a versatile set that on spot added life and interest to the pages. I inked the stamps with Distress inks, Candied Apple and Faded Jeans.

I choose my cutouts from the booklets and went all around the edges with black marker to hide the white edges. Did that with all the cutouts.

I used Matt Gel Medium to glue the cutouts on the pages. Also, added couple of twines so that lanterns will be hanging not floating on the page.

Found an inspiring quote from Marlene's Quotes Sticker Pad that reads "Your life is not yours if you worry what others think", just an awesome quote! I used it on my pages, I stamped the words "life" and "think" with big letters to emphasize the quote a little more.

To finish the page and give shine to the cutouts and quote, I added lines with white gel pen.
